Training Youth on Bamboo Craftsmanship & Entrepreneurship
BookForChange trained 50 youths from 10 villages in Anand district, Gujarat, with support from the National Skill Foundation of India. The project focused on bamboo product development, equipping rural youth with technical skills and entrepreneurial abilities to create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Incubation of Himalayan Women in Mushroom Cultivation & Entrepreneurship
Implemented in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, the project supported 50+ women across 10 villages to enhance incomes through mushroom cultivation. With support from the Forest Department, the initiative built technical skills on POPs and helped women establish mushroom units, targeting an annual income rise of ₹40,000.
